What I’ve hoped for and will continue to hope for this year are gifts to myself that are more far important than things.
I rarely talk about my faith on this blog, but it’s time to share some of how I’m getting through an unexpected and challenging time.
At this point in time, I have no material things I want or need for my birthday. In that case, what would I get if I could?
I have no idea where I’m going spiritually and emotionally, but I trust the God Who walks with me.
In the midst of difficulty, we can – and should – attempt the long, non-linear movement from despair to gratitude.
Newsflash: My value isn’t in how perfect my life looks, and neither is yours. You and I are free.
