This practice has become a yearly tradition of mine – a way to keep boldly imagining the future.
What I’ve hoped for and will continue to hope for this year are gifts to myself that are more far important than things.
I believe in not just giving things up, but replacing them as you go along. I’ve discerned more about what does and does not work for me.
Though I’m always nervous to start a new semester, and the world is uncertain and intense, I think 2017 could be my year.
It’s as easy as not doubting what someone says about their body, and instead giving them respect and what they ask for: Something you don’t need in the same way they do.
In order to have plenty of energy left for the trip itself, learning to pack well is key.
Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! What have I been giving thanks for recently? What have you?
