A few years ago, I was asked to give advice to current high schoolers at my alma mater. I shared how much I’d changed.
Believe and support the survivors in your life. Be gentle with yourself if you are a survivor. This is a hard time.
What I’ve hoped for and will continue to hope for this year are gifts to myself that are more far important than things.
The past teaches us important lessons about where we do and do not want to go, but we also need to let go.
